This Privacy Policy explains how TempMailer processes information when you use https://tempmailer.cc. TempMailer is a short-lived receiving service, not a permanent or end-to-end encrypted mailbox. Do not use it for sensitive, regulated, financial, medical, legal, or account-recovery messages.
Information processed by the service
When you create and use a temporary inbox, we process the generated address, expiry time, mailbox session identifier, sender address, subject, text and HTML message bodies, received time, and message size. Incoming raw messages are parsed, but TempMailer does not keep a raw-mail archive or expose attachments for download.
We and our infrastructure providers may also process operational information such as IP address, browser and device information, request time, requested URL, referrer, security signals, errors, and rate-limit events. These records are used to deliver the service, protect mailboxes, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain availability.
Mailbox access and local storage
TempMailer stores limited session state in your browser’s local storage so the same browser can restore an active mailbox and remember interface preferences. Mailbox access may also be represented by a signed, expiring link. Anyone who receives a valid access link may be able to view that inbox, so do not publish or share it unnecessarily.
You can clear browser storage through your browser settings. Doing so may remove your ability to restore an inbox even before the inbox expires.
Retention and deletion
The standard inbox lifetime is normally 24 hours; 10 Minute Mail normally uses a 10-minute lifetime. You may destroy an inbox earlier. Expired address records and their messages are removed by scheduled cleanup, which currently runs every 30 minutes, with additional opportunistic cleanup. One mailbox retains no more than the configured recent-message limit.
Operational, security, network, and backup records maintained by Cloudflare or other infrastructure may follow different limited retention periods under their policies and legal obligations. Deletion of a mailbox does not mean every infrastructure log is erased at the identical moment.
Google Analytics
On eligible public pages, TempMailer may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate page usage and improve the site. Google may process identifiers, cookies or similar storage, IP-derived information, device/browser information, page URL, referrer, and interaction events according to your consent choices and Google’s terms.
Google Analytics is not loaded on private dynamic mailbox routes (/new/…). Those routes are also excluded from search indexing and use a no-referrer policy so mailbox URLs and their access parameters are not sent to Google through our analytics or advertising configuration.
Google AdSense and advertising cookies
Editorial articles and the standalone Gmail guide may use Google AdSense. Tool pages, dynamic mailbox screens, blog lists, About, Privacy, and Terms pages are excluded from AdSense loading. Google and its advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, process IP addresses or other identifiers, and use information from visits to provide, measure, protect, and—where consent permits—personalize advertising.

Consent choices
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, advertising and analytics consent states default to denied while a choice is awaited. When Google advertising is enabled, TempMailer uses the certified Google consent management platform configured through AdSense Privacy & messaging. Eligible visitors can consent, refuse consent, or manage purposes and vendors.
Google Consent Mode communicates the selected status for ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization. Refusing personalized-ad consent may still allow limited or non-personalized processing where permitted. You may reopen privacy choices through the Google message interface when available, clear cookies, or use browser controls.
Cloudflare
TempMailer uses Cloudflare for website delivery, security, Workers, Email Routing, and D1 data storage. Cloudflare processes data needed to route web and email traffic, mitigate abuse, and operate these services. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for its practices.
Remote email content
Messages open in text mode by default. The optional HTML view is sandboxed and blocks remote images, scripts, forms, media, external frames, and network fonts. This reduces automatic tracking requests. If you deliberately open an external link, the destination website processes that new request under its own policy.
Your choices and responsibilities
You may destroy the current inbox, clear local storage, reject or manage consent where offered, block third-party cookies, and stop using the service. Because a temporary mailbox cannot verify long-term identity, we cannot restore expired inboxes or guarantee future account-recovery mail.
Do not submit third-party personal data or sensitive information to a temporary inbox without authorization. Websites you visit after leaving TempMailer have separate privacy practices.
